Notebook és LCD-monitor pixelhiba-irányelve ( pixel hiba szabályzat )
Acer, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Dell, Asus pixelhiba-irányelve : pixel hiba szabályzat
LG pixelhiba politika
3 napon belül az LG
minden pixelhibára (akár egyetlen alpixelre is cseréli
az LCD monitorjait!
3 nap után az alábbi garancia érvényes:
Az LG nem enged meg főpixel-hibát, teljes pixelhibánál
(ami három alpixelből áll) a monitor cserére jogosult. 1
teljes pixel, (főpixel) hibája egy nagy, 0,2mm nagyságú
hibás képpontot hoz létre a képernyőn. Nagyító alatt
ilyenkor látszik, hogy mindhárom alképpont
működésképtelen.
Mivel a főpixel-hibás monitorok rendkívül ritkák és
cserére jogosultak, az LG hibás pixelre vonatkozó
leírásai alpixelekben megfogalmazottak.
1 pixel 3 alpixelből áll – vörösből, zöldből, kékből. Az
alpixelek ezen kombinációja biztosíja azt a teljes
színtartományt, ami a képernyőn mint 1 főképpont
(főpixel) kerül kijelzésre.
A következőkben megfogalmazott pixel-hiba kritérium
szigorúbb, mint a vonatkozó ISO előírások (ISO 13406-2,
class 2).

egymillió képpontonként négy (4) hibás képpont, illetve – a kijelzőpanelt
kilenc (9) egyenlő
négyszögletes területre osztva – a kijelző
középső
részén legfeljebb egyetlen hibás képpont még elfogadható hibának minősül.

A középen található zöld terület a kijelző
középső
része, ahol legfeljebb egy hibás képpont lehet.
The Limited Warranty does not extend to minor defects of
LCD displays occurring in Products equipped with LCD display
technology provided that there shall not be more than four (4) defective pixels
per million pixels on a given LCD Display, and provided further that, if the
display panel is divided into nine (9) equal rectangular areas, there shall be one
defective pixel in the central area of the display.
The green Area in the middle is the central area of the display with no more then one defective pixel.
Resolution / overall pixel
640 X 480 X 3 = 921,600
800 X 600 X 3 = 1,440,000
1,024 X 768 X 3 = 2,359,296
1,280 X 1,024 X 3 = 3,932,160
1,400 X 1,050 X 3 = 4,410,000
Hibás képpontokra vonatkozó irányelvek
A PDÁ-k LCD-kijelzőjének
a képpontok egyenletlen nagysága okoz) esetenként megengedett – a helyzetétől,
a Newton ring méretétől,
illetve attól függően, hogy
mennyire látszik.
(a) A képponthiba:
(i) A képponthiba a képpont területének a hibája,
amelynek nagysága a képpont területének több, mint 50%-a.
(ii) A képpont kis, fényes hibája az RGB színek
valamelyikének a hibája, melynek nagysága a képpont területének kisebb, mint
a fele.
(b) Két sötét képponthiba vagy két fényes képponthiba közötti
távolságnak 3 mm-nél nagyobbnak kell lennie.
(c) A fényes és sötét kapcsolt képponthibák a következ ők:
(i) két pár két képpontból álló kapcsolt, fényes

Your LCD contains more than one million individual pixels.
Sometimes, a number of these pixels do not function normally.
Your LCD has been inspected and found to comply with the

A pixel (picture element) consists of sub-pixels: one red, one
green, and one blue dot. A transistor drives each dot. When a
transistor becomes defective, the corresponding dot may become
permanently bright or dark.
A Bright dot is a white or sub-pixel that is always on under
BLACK pattern. A Dark dot is a black or sub-pixel that is always

Toshiba Notebook pixelhiba-irányelve

|
EIZO pixelhiba-irányelve: ISO 13406-2 is
the new International Standard with ergonomic requirements for the image quality
of flat panel displays. ISO 13406-2 is the equivalent to ISO 9241-3/7/8 for
cathode ray tubes.
ISO 13406-2 covers the following key issues: -
display luminance - contrast - reflections - colours - luminance and
colour uniformity - font analysis - pixel faults - flicker
Substantial characteristic of flat panel display is the angle of view dependent
luminance / colour distribution. Therefore the measurements take place in a
spherical coordinate system Q,F:
 For
this kind of evaluation a particularly efficient measuring technique is
necessary, which has been set up in the ergonomics laboratory of TÜV Rheinland
Product Safety in Cologne. A new optical measuring technique was employed in
order to meet increased requirements in terms of the measuring accuracy.
If a user looks perpendicularly on the center of the flat panel display, then he
sees the corners of the picture under different angles Q,F:
 The
existing measuring technique makes it possible to measure the luminance / colour
under practically every viewing angle Q,F. The following figure shows the
darkroom contrast distribution of a modern 15" LC display:

NEW ISO STANDARD 13406-2 FOR FLAT PANEL DISPLAYS
The measurements take place after an analysis of the luminance distribution
on the screen within several measurement locations:
 Similarly to ISO
9241-7 in ISO 13406-2 also the reflection characteristics are examined. The
goal is an acceptable image quality in lit office environment. Due to the
optical characteristics (anisotropy) of the flat panel display the
identification of image quality is substantially more complex. A flat
panel display can be divided into the following classes:
Class |
Environment |
I |
suitable for general office use |
II |
suitable for most, but not all, office environments |
III |
requiring a specially controlled luminous environment for use |
In order to qualify for the mark ERGONOMICS APPROVED the flat panel
display shall meet the requirements for class I and/or at least the class
II.
The high-quality conoscopic measuring system within the ergonomics
laboratory of TUV Rheinland Product Safety in Cologne allows comprehensive
determination of the reflection characteristics employing the measurement of
the BRDF (Bidirectional Reflection Distribution Function).
Also
pixel faults are being identified. A flat panel display should not have pixel
faults, i.e. fault class I. According to ISO 13406- further fault classes
with the following number of faults are specified. Types 1, 2 or 3
differentiate pixels, which always illuminated, never illuminated or e.g.
contain subpixel faults:

Test mark The test mark ERGONOMICS APPROVED and ECO
CIRCLE 2000 for flat panel displays integrate ISO 13406-2 from January 2000. The
ergonomics laboratory of TUV Rheinland Product Safety Cologne is accreditated by
DEKITZ for test and certification of flat panel displays to ISO 13406-2.
